
NEW PLANT HEADED TO BLISSFIELD!
A Florida-based company appears headed for Blissfield to make a device that can desalinate water and make material to be turned into biofuels.
Officials released details about the $39.5 million project for the first time this morning at a meeting of the Michigan Economic Growth Authority board in Lansing. The MEGA board approved state tax credits for BioDri of Orlando, Fla.
The project will create 653 jobs including 337 direct jobs and 316 indirect jobs, according to a memo from MEGA staff members, and the company will pay an average weekly wage of $899. (Daily Telegram - Used with permission.)
